1. Common provisions
1.1. According to the statute’s provisions “Bereginya of the world” international public organization carries out “
Ukraine
, my heart” international child drawing exhibition-competition (below - exhibition-competition).
1.2. Exhibition-competition is held to build up love and respectful attitude to the homeland, country of parents, grand fathers, grand mothers and forefathers in child’s consciousness, popularization of Ukrainian towns’ historical-cultural heritage and the present time, cultivation of patriotism, increasing of young generation’s spiritual culture level by a love to “Minor homeland” – native town, settlement, village and the people belonging there. Competitors are allowed to incarnate their own creative skills and talents.
2. The exhibition-competition’s founder
2.1. The exhibition-competition’s founder is “Bereginya of the world” international public organization presidium.
2.2. On the state level organizational-technical and informational securing of the exhibition-competition holding is maintained by “Bereginya of the world” international public organization presidium (below – the presidium).
2.3. On regional level organizational-technical and informational securing of the exhibition-competition holding is maintained by provincial and foreign cells of the organization.
3. Conditions of participation
3.1. There are several age groups of children living in
Ukraine
and abroad who may participate in the exhibition-competition:
1st group: 5 – 8 y.o.;
2nd group: 9 – 12 y.o.;
3rd group: 13 – 18 y.o.
3.2. Participants (of any age group) perform their competitive works by such nominations:
· “I’m proud of
Ukraine
”
· “We are architects of the future”
· “Best poster about patriotism”
3.3. Requirements to the competitors’ works:
3.3.1. Competitive may be only individual creative works, performed in a free graphical or painting technique (pencils, soft-tip pens, paints etc.)
3.3.2. Image size may be free, but within the limits of A-2 format (420 x 594 mm).
3.3.3. On the underside of every competitive work such information must be indicated (in Ukrainian):
· nomination;
· name of the work, performance technique;
· author’s surname, full name and age;
· state, region, inhabited locality;
· short biographical reference with a description of creative achievements and hobbies;
· name of the educational institution, contact phone number.
3.3.4. Images shouldn’t be drawn up by a frame.
3.4. Children works’ evaluation criteria:
· urgency and completeness of subject’s opening;
· level of performance technique skills;
· creative approach (imitation is forbidden);
· tidiness of the work and assiduity.
3.5. Works non meeting the requirements of 3.3. item are not allowed to participate in the exhibition-competition.
3.6. Competitive works of participants as a result of their creative activity are the subject of the exhibition-competition. By agreement of a participant (his parents, tutors or other persons defined by current laws) the competition’s founder has a right to further use of those works.
4. Conditions of the exhibition-competition holding
4.1. Exhibition-competition is carried out on regional and international levels.
4.2. Regional level of exhibition-competition is held in Crimea autonomous republic, regions,
Kiev
city and
Sevastopol
, also as in the Organization’s foreign representative offices from 25 January till 1 March 2008.
4.2.1. On regional level regional competitive juries (below – RCJ) consisting of the Organization’s representatives, other public organizations (by agreement), regional mass media (by agreement).
4.2.2. The head of RCJ is the Organization’s regional cell manager.
4.2.3. RCJ are to organize, maintain, cover in mass media the exhibition, definition of presents, rewarding of winners and maintenance of participants’ works regional exposition.
4.2.4. Conditions of the exhibition-competition holding are covered by RCJ in regional mass media and educational institutions.
4.2.5. Competitive works in regions are accepted from 25 January till 20 February 2008.
4.2.6. Until 1 March RCJ on its sitting confirm the exhibition’s regional level winners (the first, the second and the third place) in every nomination according to age groups. Additional encouraging prizes from the exhibition’s sponsors for participants whose works didn’t win, are allowed.
4.2.7. Originals of works, that won first places in every nomination according to age groups, and their scanned copies, that is no less than 9 works from every region, are necessarily sent by RCJ for participation in the exhibition-competition’s state level.
4.3. “

, my heart” exhibition-competition’s international level is held from 1 till 10 March 2008.
4.3.1. On the international level main competitive jury (below – MCJ) examine participants’ works received from RCJ, and define winners among them by age groups and nominations. Additional encouraging prizes from the exhibition’s sponsors for participants whose works didn’t win, are allowed.
5. Rewarding of winners and their works’ exhibition
5.1. Rewarding of regional exhibition’s winners with presents and encouraging prizes are maintained by RCJ with participation of the exhibition’s sponsors after sizing up. Date, place and time of rewarding are defined on RCJ sitting.
5.2. Best works that didn’t win are exposed on exhibition by RCJ.
5.3. Duration of the exhibition is defined by RCJ.
5.4. Rewarding with presents, encouraging prizes and maintenance of the exhibition of the state level winners’ works are held in
Kiev
by MCJ with participation of the exhibition’s sponsors.
5.5. Date, place and time of ceremonial rewarding and opening of the international level winners works’ exhibition are defined by MCJ sitting.
5.5.1. “
Ukraine
, my heart” exhibition-competition booklet consisting of digital copies of the international level winners’ works is published by the presidium.
5.6. The cost of valuable presents and encouraging prizes is not paid.
5.7. The international level winners attend ceremonial rewarding by agreement of parents or tutors and should be escorted by them.
5.7.1. Costs of ceremonial rewarding, organization of works’ exhibition, publishing of the booklet and gaining of valuable presents (encouraging prizes) are financed by the Organization, sponsors’ investments and other legal sources of financing.
